safeguarding
We believe all members should feel safe while participating in volleyball. We are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for all members, where all concerns will be listed to, acted on appropriately and all individuals will be treated with respect. All players, coaches, officials, volunteers, family members and friends associated with Berkshire Volleyball Association should adhere to legislation regarding safeguarding, behaviour and conduct to provide a
safe sporting environment for all.
Our association’s Safeguarding and Welfare Officer is trained to the required standards in ‘Safeguarding and Protecting Children’, ‘Safeguarding Adults’ (delete as appropriate) and ‘Time to Listen, Safeguarding training for club welfare officers’.
